Preview & Ready to Use

The latest update has streamlined the ways to use your smart trip tools.

Grabbing Embed Code

From the List of tools, you can now grab the code directly using the grey icon.

New Navigation

On the Preview and Ready to Use screen you will now see the Quick Edit on the left and the preview on the right.

You may also view the mobile version of the tool, which will not include the header image.

New Portal Navigation

If you haven’t been on the site in awhile, the first thing that you will notice is the new navigation.  If you have already signed up for our beta tests and/or our waitlists, or you are not interested, please let us know and we can set your account to bypass this page when you login.  If you want to know more before you commit, click on Schedule a Call and we’ll be happy to fill you in.

Main Navigation

Smart Trip

The Smart Trip function allows you to create, edit, clone and archive Smart Trip tools.  It also allows you to grab the embed code for use on your website.  You may also host the tools on our site or grab the dynamic code to insert the capabilities into your site or system.   It also allows you to estimate the revenue and donations that can be produced through the use of the tools.

 

Smart Trip Browser

The Smart Trip Browser is a new tool for your Chrome Browser that allows you to do hotel bookings directly from any web page.  With this new tool, which is in beta test, there is no need to install the smart trip tool on a website or system.

When you are on a page with a company name, venue name, place name or an address, you can highlight those items and click on the Smart Trip pin and the system will automatically search for a hotel nearby that place.

From within Events.com results page for any location, the system autofills the location and the event date in finding hotels nearby.  Google structured results (typically found in the right column with images and the venue or company address) also yield a pre-filled hotel search.

With this release the user may get on the list to be a beta tester for this exciting new product.  Click HERE.

 

Smart Links

The first product being released in the Smart Links family is Smart Portfolio.  This product will be released later this summer and will be a direct competitor to Linktr.ee.   This function allows the user to get on the list to beta test the product when it comes out later this summer.  You can also sign up for the waitlist HERE.

Smart Calendar

The Smart Calendar plug in will allow the user to book travel from within the
Google Calendar.  It will be released in August of 2023.  The user may use this function to get on the list to beta test the product.  You may also click HERE.

Left Navigation


The left navigation is responsive to the original selection from the Main Navigation.

It begins with the Account logo and the name of the person logged in, along with their title and the Account name.  If the user has the authorization to manage multiple accounts, the Switch Account function will appear, with a list of the accounts.

For Smart Tools, you will then see the Tools menu and the Revenue Predictor.

As we rollout the Smart Trip Browser, the Smart Links product line and the Smart Calendar product, each will have its own navigation.

 

Lastly, no matter which function you have accessed through the Smart Tool Portal, there is a button to schedule a call with us to ensure that you maximize your use of the tools and get all of your questions answered.

On each screen within the portal you will also find a CHAT button in the lower right corner.  With that button, during business hours you may initiate a chat with one of our Client Success team or you may access our Knowledge Base and ask a wide range of questions.

Top Navigation

Across the top you will find the Solutionz logo.  If you wish to visit the Solutionz site to learn more about the company, simply click on the logo.

Next you will see the “BREADCRUMBS“.  This will show you at all times where you are in the system.  You may click on any of the location names in the breadcrumbs to return to that place, including returning HOME.

Next is your current LEVEL.  We have 3 levels.  Everyone begins at Level 1, unless you were referred by one of our Level 2 or 3 accounts.

If you would like to know what is available to you at each level, you may use the dropdown and look at the UPGRADE options.   There is always a “cashless” way of upgrading, by doing a certain number of bookings, or if you are in a hurry to upgrade, you can pay, monthly or annually.  We also offer a LIFETIME offer.  You may use the same link to change your billing cycle.

The NOTIFICATIONS bell is where you will find important communications from our team to your team.  That is how you landed here.  In the next release, this function will display within the portal, without taking you outside the system.

The INFO page is designated with a question mark.  Right now this links you to our support page, which opens in a separate tab on our corporate website.  In the next release we will be expanding this function, so that you remain inside the Portal.  We are also adding both online chat and a Knowledge Base that should answer all your questions.

Next you will see your IMAGE.  If there is no image displayed, you may update your USER Profile and add your picture.  Think of this as your SETTINGS page.

To view or update your ACCOUNT, your USER profile or to LOGOUT, click on the dropdown from your image.  If you are a Client Administrator, you will also see an ADMIN dropdown.  From there you may update or view your Templates, view the users that you manage and lookup widgets in your account.

Account Navigation

The navigation for the Account file has also been updated.   The new horizontal navigation breaks the Account File into logical components.

Account – General contact information for each account
Billing (for Level 2+ accounts) – Billing information for disbursing royalties and donations
Identity – Images for the portal
Giving – The charity information for Level 2+ accounts
Access – Recap of who has access to the account.  This is where you may invite others to the account.
Referrals – Referral code for the account

My Profile (User) Navigation

User Navigation

The navigation for the My Profile (User) file has also been updated.   The new horizontal navigation breaks the User File into logical components.

Details – General contact information for each account
Identity – Images for the portal
Referrals – Referral code for the account

Admin (Client Admin only) – settings for the User, which is accessible through the User List in the ADMIN function.

Simplification of Build Process

When you build a new tool, you may choose from the SmartTrip model, where Level 2+ clients receive a base royalty of 10% plus we donate 10% of our revenues to their charity of choice, or they may choose Smart Giving, which yields a 25% donation to their charity of choice.

Level 1 accounts default to the SmartTrip model and are not eligible for the Smart Giving model unless they upgrade or they surpass the 10 booking threshold when they receive an auto-upgrade.  At that point they can take advantage of the SmartGiving model and can also choose the Smart Event tool.

Once the account reaches Level 3 (75 booking average over 3 months to auto-upgrade), they can take advantage of the Smart Map tool, which can replace a map on any site.
